One of the most important, yet most overlooked part of exercising is the warm up! Warming up is critical to help prevent injury and to make sure your body is ready to properly engage in the upcoming workout. You should spend anywhere from 5-15 minutes in the dynamic warm up phase of your workout. Some great exercises to incorporate into your warm up are jogging, high knees, lateral shuffles, back pedaling, and skipping to name a few. Besides, have you ever seen someone unhappy when they skip?! We didn’t think so either.
